I bought a 2014 Limited with 7,200 miles on it last week. Is it normal for the driver window regulator to have a louder motor than the other windows? The window still works fine, but it seems to have a louder hum when it goes up compared to the other windows. I'm not sure, but I think I also hear a faint clicking of gears turning when it rolls up as well. I tried searching, but I couldn't seem to find anything.

In my case (2016 HL), no, both the driver and passenger side windows are about the same (very quiet, only hearing the glass sliding from contact with the lower rubber stripes); perhaps from sitting at the driver-side being closer to the driver-side window that noise can be slightly clearer?? Yet, if I read your post correctly, the noise per your description may be significantly louder?

From the year and mileage of your HL, it may have been sitting for a while, I would do the following:
1. roll the drive-side glass all the way down then check/clean the lower inside & outside rubber stripes (especially the outside with a soft toothbrush) where in contact with the glass to make sure clear of any fine sand/dirt accumulation.
2. compare the driver-side rubber stripes with the passenger-side, may be the driver-side rubber stripe(s) is hardened due to continued exposure to sun light/UV ray/heat while sitting in the lot?
3. if all looks normal up to this point, I would remove the door panel and moisture cover to lube the window mechanism.
Good Luck!
