Something in our driver wiper arm has stripped. There is a slight amount of tension, but I can move the whole arm by hand in both directions. If I turn the wipers on at speed, the driver arm ends up between the side mirror and a pillar and stays there until I pull over to put it back. Can you imagine how silly that looks? Not to mention the no wipe I am left with. :laugh:


Any ideas for a fix?

Crap. I would not have thought it could just be a loose nut. How it got loose all on it's own I do not know, but it was loose by golly. All fixed now. Sorry for the trouble.

Same thing has happened to me...I was trying to check the nut but i didn't have the right socket. i'll check and report back cause my issue is that the drivers side wiper arm is not staying flat...it keeps popping up. the tension doesn't appear to stay on the blade

Low and behold...a loose bolt and all this ruckus. I tightened that 14mm bolt as well as the passenger one just for good measure and everything is as right as rain!

Loose nuts between the seats and steering wheels. :grin: Glad y'all figured it out.
