The exhaust is made by borla. Doesn't sound that bad, but it didn't really sound that good either. A little too raspy.joel_musicman said:The exhaust is badged by TRD, advertised to add 3-4 ballpark HP. From what I know of it, it is an "axle-back" bolt-on, which baically means just a new muffler. I've heard that the stock one is pretty neat, it has a valve in it that keeps it quiet at idle, then opens up around 3k rpm.

I would take a new Tc over a 14 year old Camry any day.Talisman18 said:
Overall, I did like the car but I wouldn't buy it. Only because it would be like me taking a step down from my camry. I
I would too if they were both stock. Mine isn't. Plus I was talking on a fun to drive basis. DOn't get me wrong, I liked the tC but my own 14 year old grocery getter is a lot more fun to drive.Clean SE-R said:I would take a new Tc over a 14 year old Camry any day.:
there are two cars in the same price range that preform better a SVT Focus and a SRT-4 NeonThunderstruck said:I think the point of the TC is to give a certain level of "performance" while remaining within most everybody's financial grasp. Under that premise, the TC delivers and then some. How does it compare to cars within the same price range??? Extremely well. How does it compare to a sport car that's $8-12K more? The same way a $30K car compares to $50K sport cars....apples and oranges...Obviously an $18K car will always have room for improvements...but as a platform to improve upon, I think the TC offers more than anything else in the market in that price range......
your suggesting a ford over a toyota.. check ur head... and the srt4 is NOT in the same price range its 2-3 thousand morerfinger said:there are two cars in the same price range that preform better a SVT Focus and a SRT-4 Neon
