The gen 3 camry 4 cylinder always came with 4 disc brakes if you got the abs. If you want the abs it will come with 4 wheel disc brakes, to get one you gonna get both. This is for the 4 cylinder gen 3 camrys don't know about other cars. The V6 always came with 4 wheel disc brakes regardless of abs or not. You can't have abs on the gen 3 4 cylinder camry and not have 4 wheel disc brakes from the factory. If the person does, then they swapped it for disc brakes.

just cause you have abs doesnt necessarily mean you have 4 wheel disc brakes
im not saying that you dont have four wheel disc brakes but a lot of cars have 4 wheel abs but rear drum brakes

uuhh...this IS a CAMRY forum...and the OP is talking about a CAMRY...and ALL Gen3 CAMRYs came with 4 wheel disc if you have ABS.

We arent talking about 'a lot of cars'. We are talking about the CAMRY. ;)

the es300/camry wagon rear brakes are larger than the v6 camry discs...use those...you will need

the backing plates
calipers
e-brake cables
rear brake hoses
rear discs
the e-brake assembly that is behind the disc

and i believe that's it

your local junkyard might sell all that for 100usd but i might be low ballin

So maybe what should be done is to go into the sticky thread that links to the writeup and answer the question in there regarding whether or not it will work for a Gen3.5. Last I looked it was just an un-answered queston that may or may not generate a little confusion.

Its 55 here. Was 25 yesterday. LOL. I love Colorado.
I'm thankful my buddy is willing to lend his shop for my clutch and timing belt project. Thank God for wind-free semi-warm places! lol... Beats my "very open" gravel-floored nowhere-near-level "shop". lol.
