I just made one of these for myself today and I was wondering if anyone else had an interest in one? If so, I could have some nicer looking ones made (im more concerned about function over looks) and sell the for a reasonable price on here.

what did you use to make yours? i was thinking of using some lamiated alunimum(sp?) and some insta-gasket. also do you think it would work on a 1mz

why not just use a piece of sheet metal? and put it inbetween like a gasket but without the hole in the center.

then you'd have useless hardware in your engine bay... by using his blockoff plate you free up some room in there. i saw it yesterday, it looks clean as hell! :thumbup:

As long as you plug the lines, there will be no code.
Plugging the lines is free
Also getting back to stock for emmision test is fast.

well how did you seal up the hole in the exaust? i started removing mine from my 1mz today so far i have all the vaccume lines taken off and the filter that was between the tb and the vsv out.

Nah, nbo real performance gains other than slightly cooler engine temps from having not exhaust recirculated.

Hmmm EGR is suppose to reduce engine and exhaust temp when working. Not the other way around. Without EGR you'll get a cleaner manifold.

Well no matter what you are going to see gains....not noticable gains though because you a pretty much pluging something that leaks out of you intake

For haivng a clean TB air intake, ACTS system, intake manifold, and cleaner heads... It's worth it.

i hate all this carb BS thats plugging away at our poor engine bays... theres like 50 bajillion vacuum lines!!! gurrr!!! im jealous of aaron's jdm engine!

You need a standalone I have none of the spidered vacuum hoses that clogs up the engine bay
