How adequate are the electrical grounds? Why do I ask-?? I also own an older Maxima and those forums have lots of posts on people adding electrical grounds under the hood. I added one from the engine to the frame.I don't see those type posts here on this forum .
There are also "extra ground wire" kits you can buy for maxima, and of course some people who installed those and said they noticed no change. Others say yes, as lots of kits are advertised and sold.
So where is the Highlander in all this? Are the electrical grounds ok, being Toyota you would think they were.

Never had an issue with grounds on my old highlander but did on my old '96 Camry way back when I had that. But that's completely my fault not Toyota, here in the rust belt, salt destroys the undersides of cars and I didn't rinse it enough to keep bolts that mount the grounds from rusting. Whole bottom engine was also dead when I junked it.
