It's been quite some time since my last post. Long story short, it looks like the time has come to part ways with my beloved 96 LE. Life has stepped in with a vengeance and I can't hold onto this car anymore. I'll be posting it in the for sale section soon. I would sell through normal channels, but she's got a few mods that an average buyer wouldn't know anything about when parts need to be replaced. So, I'd like her to go with someone who can appreciate what the car is, and know what to do if repairs come up.

Anyway, good to be back on the forums. At least for a little bit longer...

Bummer!
But GLWS.
Thanks. I don't think this will be the last time I own a gen3. When the dust settles, I may look into another one. Maybe a V6 XLE wagon, if I can find one in decent shape. I always wanted one of those...

I hate this happened, but I hope you will be back soon.

Me too. It really does hurt to think about letting go of my gen3.5. I just love this car. It’s not the fastest, it’s not super luxurious, it’s got some “battle damage”, but she’s still got it where it counts. Rock solid reliability.

I’m going to keep my eye out for that 96 XLE V6 wagon.
