I'm trying to order some o2 and air/fuel sensors for my 2006 Avalon. The various web sites offer different ways to identify the front cylinder side from the back cylinder side. Front, right, #1, #2, left, and back.

So I going to assume;
Front =Right=#2
Back=Left=#1

Right??

BTW -- If you need the tools to remove/install the sensors, consider Advance Auto for loaners.

Yea, good stuff, thanks. The various sites use all of the following to describe B1/B2=Back/Front=#1/#2=Left/Right.

So when discussing, it seems that Back, #1, B1, Left, are interchangeable. Likewise, Front, #2, Right, B2 are interchangeable. This is what I was trying to clarify.

Just a FWIW. Not every engine is the same as to how the manufacturer defines 'side' with an across the frame engine.
Nissan do not even use the same definitions across it's own lines, for instance.
