Is it possible to install Camry 2005 2.4 L 4 cyl engine to camry 2007-2009? If yes, how about the transmission too as both are 5 speed automatic? Sorry if this is a too dumb question to ask.

I haven't done this personally but I would suspect it would work. There are some slight differences internally with piston design etc between the years but I'd bet money that the castings for the block ect. haven't changed. So it should bolt up to the trans without issue. It might be wise to use the sensors and externals from the newer engine as they're a match for what the ECM and other computers are sensing.
