errrr. how to check the super charger?

Hi All,

I recently acquired a previa and wanted to check the status of the S/C and where is this oil container for the S/C? For that matter, where is the S/C located on the van?

Sorry for the dumb questions, thanks for your help.

Hi, when you open the hood the charger is located on the driver side and the dip stick is located on the back of the unit and is bright Yellow. It's somewhat hard to see and more difficult to get your hands on it.
If you go to the dealer for some fresh oil be ready for a "stick-up" $45 dollars for a "tiny cup of tea" ( Poeple is there any other place to buy this expensive oil ?)

I have a Toyota super charger in my attic I mistakenly bought it for my 94 Previa a few months back. I got a wrong diagnosis from my Toyota dealer. Turns out the idler arm pully was the problem. I got it from a company who imports them from Japan. I never opened it. Is is removed form a car with 60K miles. They guaranteed it for me but I never installed it. Let me know if you know anybody who wants it for $100 plus shipping from Houston, TX.

Hi, I was wondering if you have an idea of how difficult it is to change the supercharger in the Previa. The deal thinks ours might be in its way out and we really don't want to hand over the money to them, if we can help it.
Also, along the same topic, do you still want to sell the one you have and would it fit on a 97 Previa?
