I have 2002 camry and my exhaust flange is rusted through due to Chicago winter. The OEM exhaust is stantless steel. I bought a 120 v welder already. I want to buy a flange and weld it to the exhaust. Want to keep OEM exhaust because it is in good condition. My measurement for the flange is 2.2" OD and center to center of bolt holes is 3.75". Can someone confirm this? Does anyone have advise on welding exhaust? This will be my first time welding. I plan to take the exhaust off the car, clean it good with wire brush, and weld it (MIG or wire feed). Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
