So my buddy wrecked his truck out wheelin last night. He floats around here from time to time, I'm sure he'll chime in on this thread. We were gunna get his winch and fogs installed in his allpro bumper this morning, but it looks like thats gunna wait a bit.

Here's my idea, I'm gunna start a new thread when we begin repairs on Monday or Tuesday, and update it daily with pictures. This will show everyone what exactly goes into repairing one of our trucks. We're easily looking at 2 weeks to get it fixed.

He needs a new composite inner bed, new bedside, all the inner structure, flare, tailight, new wheel, serious repair if not replace the cab corner, new door, glass, and so on. I'm trying to talk him into taking the money for the bed and letting us fab up a flat bed, but as of right now he's not into it.

Here's the photos

Looks like a set of sliders with kickouts is in the works too after the repairs?

That really sucks! I hate hearing of people wrecking their rigs.
A Flat bed would be cool but it will bring down the resale value considerably.

But on the flip side? With the money he will have left over he could buy a nice front bumper and winch!:clap:

Front bumper is already on, he's got the AP plate. We were actually gunna install the winch and fogs this morning, but we have plenty of time now that it's in the shop.

doesnt look like there's anything wrong with that wheel. how'd it hold up? i got the same kind and was just wondering...
Wheel is actually fine, but his insurance company will pay for new one because of the scrape in it. So, he'll have one for a spare.
