Hey there everyone, I'm a newb to the site, it looks like these forums are very active and the site seems awesome so I'm looking forward to posting and reading further in.

Here's my situation:
I've got a completly stock 92 All trac corolla wagon with exhaust issues. I'm trying to hunt down the exploded view of the exhaust system from the service manual (I don't have one yet) to see where all the original components were located. The front pipe is leaking around the flex joint, and it appears someone has hacked this pipe up before so I'm unsure if just a replacement pipe will fit or if I'm gonna have to take the car to an exhaust shop for a custom job. Any pics or info would be great! Thanks in advance!

i had the same problem

i bought a new header pipe for about 130 dollars, but i couldn't get the old pipe off because the bolts were so rusted. i took the pipe back to advanced auto parts and bought a 1 3/4" flex pipe instead. i used a cheap black and decker sawzall to cut off the old flexible joint and cut the flex pipe to size. the kit comes with one c-clamp, and you need to buy another one. i also recommend buying a tube of exhaust sealant. all together i spent twenty bucks, if that.

I might have to go that route too, the only problem is the front pipe has been hacked and welded previously (even around the O2 sensor bung) so it really does need the new pipe..... I'm heading back over to the dealer tomorrow....
