I had them before. Comparable to Nitto NT555. In my experience, NT555 is less noise but FK-452 is handling a bit better but overall they both good tires.

I have the Falken 452s on my car now and have had them on a different car. The price/performance is difficult to beat but like others have said, they get a little loud after about 25% of the tread has worn away (75% remaining). Otherwise, they ride fairly smoothly and the mileage/life is also pretty good. I beat on these tires pretty hard and they have lasted longer than many other performance tires.

I've been told that the Yokohama equivalent tires (not sure about the model number) are somewhat better in practically every way but are also fairly expensive.

If you are on a budget but want a good overall value, get the Falken 452s. If you have the money, you might look into Kumhos or Yokohamas.

I installed Falken Ze912 225/45/R18 on a set of Lexus IS350 8.5" rims. These went on my 07 XLE Camry V6. At first, I was really satisfied with these tires. Handling was night and day compared to the 16 inch OEM GoodYears. However, after about 20K, the noisy hum started becoming unbearable. Then the tread really started to go quickly. I think they lasted about 35K on mostly highway commuting (45 miles to work 4 days a week). Light snow handling really sucked. I got stuck more than once when there was more than an inch of snow on the ground. The aggressive tread pattern just couldn't grip on wet or snow conditions once the tread was below 75%.
Definitely not going with Falkens ever again. Now running Michelin All Season Radials. Nothing special about them. The tread is pretty standard. Car now is almost completely silent on the freeway.

i would check with tirerack.com...Yokohamas or Michelin are my pick.....personally i would go with Yokohamas AVID W4s , the traction and treadwear are nice or you could go for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus...they are on my OEM wheels now

of course you got stuck in the snow, there is a huge difference between real all seasons and high performance "all seasons" .

that being said, i've ran ze329s and now ze512s....i've been pretty happy with both..and i live in low profile tire hell....

Another brand to check is Continental tires... I have the DWS and it ride pretty good. For an 18" tires it did very good at evacuating water. When it's wet, it slips a bit when I press hard on the gas. While others said it do great wet and dry. Dry is perfect of cause and rating at 140mph tires U can speed safely with it.

I haven't had a chance to use it in the snow, yet.

I've got a set of Falken ZIEX ZE512's on my car right now, and compared to my old Bridgestone Potenza's, they are 10 times better in every way. They are quiet and they ride good with decent handling. I've noticed that they have better traction in wet weather than my old Potenzas did as well. But I've been extremely happy with my Falkens so far. They've got about 5k on them now.

452 are very sloppy in the rain when they are down to 50-60%, you'll hydroplane like crazy.
You can also have a look into either Hankook Ventus V12 EVO or Bridgestone potenza RE760 Sport. If you get them at TireRack, they will give you a $60 American-Express card witch is pretty good. I have the Re760's in 245/40/18 right now and they are very comfortable compared to my old Yokohama Advan Sport's, although they dont have as much dry/wet grip but I think its a fair trade off. Google Car&Driver tire review and they have an article reviewing 10 summer tires. Good luck!
