^^^ A bit one-sided opinion? But not surprising, coming from dakmor

Put a Charger in a downhill touge race and it'll be left behind by
most if not all "import crap".

Btw, the (old) Charger is my favorite american muscle car, in case you're wondering (or not).

Really Charger? Its nice. I do have a soft spot for muscle cars. Sure they can only go strait line but its the raw power and the V8 growl. I love it!

I would personally go for more of GM's products back then as far as muscle goes. Like the Camaro's but more so Firebirds even if its the same car, Trans Am!! Oh baby!

Didn't they have a Charger in the second F&F?? They were racing it??

Same here, any old american muscle (or pony) cars I like. The Charger 440 is the king on my list.

Don't remember, since the 2nd sequel was IMO the worst out of the whole franchise, hence not very memorable. In the 1st F&F, Vin Diesel's character took out the old Charger and raced against Paul Walker's rice-looking Supra. In the 3rd F&F (Tokyo Drift), Vin Diesel (again as a guest appearance) showed up with a lo-lo Plymouth Roadrunner (the Dodge Charger's twin back in the days) before the credits were rolling.

Just like imports can only turn, too slow to do anything else.

...almost, but not quite. The second movie used a 70 Challenger R/T and a 69 Yenko Camaro.

you're breaking my heart man, you're breaking my heart.
Sorry about that, but if there's any consolation, ultimately the fuel economy beats power and speed (especially with the gas prices now). Ever heard of the "turtle vs. rabbit" story? ;):D

LOL and you think imports are all so good in turning, the popular civic and corolla plain suck :D Granted they have sports cars that can perform, but theres american cars that can too. I'd say the "they cant turn" is a big myth nowadays, maybe it held back in the 70's.
