To the Toyota Nation people, I was removing my mudflaps last night and when I was removing the bolts I got a wild hair up my butt and checked all the bolts on the fender flares....they all were loose by about 2-3 rachets on my rachet drive. Take a look, I hope I am not crazy.

Well, they are a plastic/fiberglass/ABS( what exactly are they anyway?? ) construction so they shouldn't be on there extremely tight. Also appears they have some kind of gasket material in between the fender and the flare.

They should be put on with torque spec's I would assume( possibly even inch pounds rather then foot pounds ). Be careful over tightening them as it could lead to cracks. Not saying they were not loose or anything either( not doubting you )just be cautious. Things torqued down to inch pounds, or even a low # foot pound figure, with some type of rubbery gsket material in there will seem loose when actually it is torqued down properly.
