few questions on a 1996 camry

alright i got a few questions/problems for u guys.

1. 90k on the clock, timing belt never done, when the car is running cold, i hear a chatter coming from the engine, is this the timing belt?

2. when i stop hard going highway speeds, the brakes make a weird hard shake kinda noise, its hard to describe.

3. also, when i brake normally right when the car is about to stop theres a little squeaking going on.

4. while in drive, at idle at a stoplight, the steering wheel seems to vibrate a little, if i put my hand on it my fingers will vibrate quite fast. the vibrating isnt that bad but i fear something is wrong.

maybe im just really paranoid since i just got this car butttt i really need it to last for atleast 200k hopefully many many more miles

4.check your engine mount
2.check the brake rotor
1.90k (mile or KM) the timing belt must replace every 150000KM
3.check brake pad

Brief overview:
1) Timing belts need to be done about every 90k miles. I don't think it's supposed to make any noise though... unless it's VERY worn.
2) Warped brake rotor probably.
3) Check and see if your brake pads are worn down. If they squeal, they probably need to be replaced soon.
4) Let me guess... 4 cylinder? Your "dog bone" upper engine mount is probably shot (possibly along with other engine mounts). Check the upper engine mount's rubber for excessive wear. It's also popular to swap them out with the larger dog bone from the 4th generation camry. :)
#1 Since the Timing belt has never been done, has the Valve Clearance/Lash been adjusted if needed?
4. If it's the 4 cylinder 5SFE 2.2 liter engine, a bit of shaking at idle is normal for this year. I wouldn't worry about that or as suggested you could try replacing the dogbone mount with one form a generation 4 Camry 4 cylinder engine (1997-2001).
