finally happening..

Where I live, there are lots of hills and snow during winter. My mom just bought a car with AWD so there's no more worries of being stuck anymore.

I will inherit her BMW 528i because the dealer gave us a ridiculously low trade-in price.

So my camry is going to leave me :(
I'll never forget the great times I've had my car. Truly a great car. v6 powered, smoothness, reliability.

If I had a choice, I would love to keep both. But the extra insurance payment just isn't worth it.

I hope I find a good home for it :(

HAHAHA I was just thinking the same thing.

"DUDE... you're getting a Beemer!"
haha yea defint, i agree MRQturbo, im workin on getting a 535 :D but i still love my camry
Gotta go with everyone else. F the Camry. You're getting a BMW!

The fact it's only the 2.8 kinda sucks but there are a ton of parts out there for that car.

What year is it? Auto or stick?
^ yea its a BMW. compare the BMW to the Camry.
BMW = :thumbup:
i would trade any newer/decent bmw for my camry...psh
ahh the price of fixing a bmw...gentlemen empty your pockets. i have a 325i in mia and it costs alot to fix it and to get parts for the damn thing. i would sell the bmw and get something that won't put a hole in my pocket.
^ yea the maintenance and fixing costs are crazy $

If say the check engine light comes on, you have to bring it to a dealer, autozone can't do it. To even plug it into their computer is $107.

1 Maintenance cost was about $270. changing 2 filters, and some oil fluid..
but the bmw doesn't have the every 3k oil change like camry's do. They have one every 15k or 20k miles one of those.

little green boxes tell you when it's time
There are specific BMW code readers advertized in the back of MotorTrend or Car and Driver - probably pays for itself in one use ?

Just a suggestion.

Cool getting a BMW though :)
I'd sell the BWM personally. I'm an import only fan, just can't get better quality, even though BMW's are the shizzle with power and fine interiors.

Um yeah, because BMW has such LOW quality compared to the asian car manufacturers:rolleyes: :hammer:

Low compared to Japanese imports yes. Very good (pats you both on the head lightly). Want a cookie for quoting the obvious?

In my mind, the only Imports worth thinking about are Japanese. I won't own an American made car and I won't own a German made car, althought they might be fun as hell to drive like the BMW M3.
my brother got a 4 cylinder '95 3series and could could still eat my camry up. i love toyota but bmw is far superior in performance and luxury. they look good too.

If you wish to make a point, I'm sure we'd all be happy to hear it without your condesending attitude. What exactly is your opinion about quality based on?? When you say: "In my mind, the only Imports worth thinking about are Japanese.", it makes you sound narrow minded.
Check out this links for info on car quality.

If you look at the initial quality chart, you can see that Mercedes Benz, Audi, and BMW are almost the same as toyota, and Toyota was beaten by 3 American car manufacturers.
