I saw an X-Runner in person today. No big deal right? When I really started to think about it, that was the first one I've ever seen around here. I went to the Toyota "Build your own car" or whatever the hell its called, punched in my area code, and no X-Runner choice. Checked all the dealership websites within 200 miles and nothing. I put in my Opa's area code 94523, and there it was. Checked mine again, 98229, still nothing. Just thought that it was really weird that Toyota doesnt offer the X-Runner in the Northwest Washing area. I've talked with lots of people who said they would buy one if they had the money. I know its no big deal or anything, I just still think its weird.

Yeah it is kinda cool that you dont see them everywhere, but its stupid that they're not even offered around here.

i have had my X for 7 months now and have only seen one other one. Speedway blue sitting at the dealership. I like that its not everywhere. and everyone has to ask me what "who makes that" and "you buy it that way"

I'm starting to see a few more 05+ Tacomas here, and there. Still never saw an "X" in person.

Some chick at my school has a Speedway Blue X.

I have seen 2 other black ones in my area. That is it.

there was one here in oklahoma i was looking at summer of 05, it sold before i could go look at it in person, but there is at least one around here somewhere, unless it went out of state... i havent seen one in person yet though.

In my area I've seen two SpeedwayBlue, Three Black and one Red. What I've seen most is the DC TRD trucks and the AC TRD trucks.

I've only seen one. The black one with the 22's on it here in New Orleans. But, that is a good point. You rarely ever see them. I just realized that reading this post. But, I do see an ungodly amount of Tacoma DBL cabs. But, not the speedway blue like mine. Have yet to see one like mine.

I've seen two like yours in my area. One had different rims, tires and a lift kit. The other one just had the roof rack on his. They do look good.:thumbup:

actually, ive only seen 2 other 05+ tacos on the streets around here, i know there are more, just only seen 2 around me a white one and a blue one. i always manage to wave at them, we share a common bond, we drive sweet trucks

I am not kidding right here. In an area about 5 blocks around my house I saw 4 double cabs. All Silver. There is a dude about another 4 blocks away from me with a silver access cab. My neighbor has a black double cab longbed.

I pretty much know where every Tacoma in my town is at.

My count so far...16 Tacomas in less than a 1 mile radius.

A Speedway Blue Sport Access Cab at the old folks home, a Black Off-Road Access Cab, a Desert Sand DC Longbed, a White 4x2 Regular Cab, A Lifted Indigo Ink Sport DC SB that a really really hot chick was getting into, and the Black X I saw today. Yet, every time I go by the dealership they have new Tacomas on the lot.

I KNOW! It's because I am California. SO MANY PEOPLE.

I know where 16 Tacomas reside at night. I need to tell them to get onto Toyota Nation.

There are even more Tacomas that I see parked in the same places every day at stores and such too.

I was at Bed Bath and Beyond one night. I saw a double cab in silver just like mine. I parked next to it. I was standing at the entrance drinking a Red Bull waiting for the owner to come out and see who it was. All of a sudden this HOT chick walks out and I was like DAMN. Then in my head I was like, "I bet the double cab is hers" and what do you know, IT WAS. I was like no way! She was looking at mine too while she got into hers. I felt like going to talk to her. My mom was with me, so NO.

That is so crazy! She was a mid 20s girl too. Amazing. I just turned 19. LOL.

Next girl I see in a Tacoma, I will "spit game" to her. We got a great starting point. We can talk about the truck! :lol:

Did you check the plates? It might of been from B.C. I used to live up in Bellingham, nice place, but had to leave after college because I didn't want to work at my 'school job' at Circuit City forever!

:headbang: dangit, no I didnt check the plates. Might have been from Canada, hopefully I see it again today, it's been bugging the crap out of me all of yesterday and last night.
