I couldn't help it, I saw the web site and had to check it out!! I am the original owner of a 95 t100. 2wd long bed, 5 speed.. If this truck could talk!! I just can't let it go, I have 5 other trucks, but this one is a part of me. It helped start my business, I can't get rid of it!!! Mine doesn't look as good as some of yours, but it still runs great. 170k on it.

Welcome to Toyota Forums...

Hello Cutter1,

Good to hear from an original owner of the "T". Can you give all of us a little history of your truck? What kind of repairs had to be done? What has endeared your truck to you? How do you use your truck? Hope to read more about your truck and your experiences with it. Thanks! :)

lets see......repairs. I did have to put a new rearend in it a few years back, not sure if anyone has ever tried to find a rear end for a 2wd t100, but people laughed at me on the phone!!! End up finding one of a totaled t100 maybe 25 miles away!!! Lucky. Put a clutch in it, exaust issues with it and o2 sensor which was like $600!!!! Other than that, I haven't done anything....I use to pull a 12 ft trailer with two walkbehinds and 1500lbs+ of grass and three guys in the front, I would be crawling up a hill in first gear!!! Everytime I get behind the wheel it brings a smile to my face!! Just a part of me!! Its been all over the country and back and I use to two waverunners to the lake with it every weekend, take it to tailgates at WVU, steeler games and everything in between!!! I love that truck. Oh ya and I had to get it painted.

I too am the original of a 95 T100 2WD 3.4 Automatic at 137K now - only normal maintenance required, doesn't burn a drop of oil, still 20 mpg average, everything still works, it still looks good, starting to get a little rust at rear wheel quarters (not bad for 13 salty Midwest winters). I too am very attached to this truck - but I must be selling soon. I will be replacing with an 08 Crewmax - I have 3 kids and will have need to tow an RV. This T100 will do down as probably my best vehicle ever - certainly my most reliable.
