Are you using a phone or computer? When using my computer moving the cursor underlines the time or post # and then they become clickable.
Ok, I can click the time it was posted and go to the recent post. It has to be done while in that subforum. Works both phone and computer, thanks.

My Amazon package is a day late.
I hate that when I'm tracking something. At least with Amazon, it'll get there by separate mail truck today, or you'll get a Sunday delivery.

I guess the next question will be when are the mods going to move all of the complaints from the site change into this thread to keep them "on topic".😁🤦‍♀️

But this thread is really about that lady, her ne'er-do-well ex-boyfriend, and her dead dog.
She might well have caught the dogs getting into the trash, had the ex found some new chick to give him a ride...

And why isn't she saying where he needed a ride to?

Actually this thread is about anything that we can poke fun at as being a "First World Problem", like the day late Amazon package, no free meal in the plane ride to Cabo, that sort of fun stuff.

So like a cheap OBD2 bluetooth dongle that won't connect Torque Lite to my 2000 Corolla's ECU?

It works in my 2005 Stang, but Torque gave me some message telling me to get a better one...

But I'm not really digging the look of it all as much, and wish they had an option for the user to revert to the old look.
You're not the only one. Of all the forums I'm on, this is the worst. And it got here from a much easier to view format just last week.

I'll keep searching for the button that will just allow me to view my Watched Threads again, but I'm almost convinced that both ToyotaNation and SiennaChat are bound and determined to make viewing the forums an unenjoyable task.

And that is the essence of many 21st century improvementz across many different technologies. I can't think of any specific things right now, but a lot of new stuff seems like it's designed to make the user's experience with it suck in some way. Almost like we're being punished for being able to experience these first-world problems.

I've thought now for over ten years that they (govarmints, corporations, etc.) are trying to make driving suck, with headlights which are too bright, street signage which is poorly designed and poorly placed so that you have to slow down to read it, traffic light sequences which turn the next light red immediately before you can get to it - and immediately after you just got going after sitting for two minutes at another red light 1000 feet back...
Look at how hard it is to get most any product out of it's packaging today! I get that some things need to be packaged well, but in many cases, the packaging is of higher quality than the product it contains!

Also it might really be an improvement, but just not one which we are meant to realize... Hopefully it will be easier for the admins once they get it all figgered out.

And bring back those old smilies!

Sounds like it's working to me. Insert ROTFLOL icon here.

Headline I just ran into:

Ninja calls out Twitch after his dormant channel highlights porn (updated)

So many elements in that headline left me going "Huh?" And I suppose it must be a big deal, as the headline needed to be (updated). I had to look a few things up.

Twitch is a live streaming platform where geniuses...sorry, gamers... talk. And I guess play games and talk. And solve pressing World Issues. Oh, no, wait, I am getting some feedback...no. No they don't.

Ninja, apparently, is some ass clown on Twitch., which has not live streamed in a while. So he must be really relevant.

Porn I think we can all understand.

So yeah, big first world problem here. There was a collective wince from Planet Earth on this one.

Isn't that the business model Micro$oft created and perfected?: To create products that are thoroughly defective, compelling owners/users to seek paid customer support. You mean that?

BTW, I hate these smileys so much I've stopped using them all together. I only intend to use a couple facepam smileys I downloaded to my computer and will link to them when relevant.

I have noticed that when I click on the time/'most recent post' icon, that if someone has posted in the thread since I refreshed the forum page, it will go to that most recent post. The old site would take you to the post it described as the last post, leaving you to scroll down to the later posts.

So now you want to scroll up to see what you missed when clicking on the most recent post icon. I always did that anyway...

Yup, I've been on a web site (the Samba) since 2002 (for my VW), and it's gotten updated thru the years, but Everett (the owner) hasn't changed the lay out or the smilies in all that time. It's still very friendly to use, and looks the same as it did when I joined it. It even hosts pictures for free, as I have some on there dating back to 2004. :O

But I agree with you 100%. Improvements generally suck, and make things worse or unusable.
Driving these days does suck, and seems to be getting worse, due to all of the idiots driving around in there SUV's that warn them of everything except the accident they're in. :O
And all of this new style Adult proof packaging really sucks. I keep a box cutter handy just so I can access it.

I guess I had a draft for this forum that didn't get posted yesterday. IDK why it didn't post.

The big running joke was not to have microsoft build cars, as they'd always be broke down.
So, you're going to horde all of the good face palm smilies for yourself? What about the rest of us?

No more capacity to allow us to edit our posts for clarification or spelling? This is the single worst forum format I've experienced to date, but I'm sure somewhere there are people hard at work to make one even worse.

You can edit but I don't think you can delete the post anymore.
Yes I've found that out too (can't delete a post or double post). The edit button is near the top of the post next to how many minutes or whatever it was when you posted in that thread.

Oh, and how do I get rid of the extra advertisements in the middle of the threads? I've clicked on new bras and swimwear a couple of times thinking it was a post (thinking it was worker and his women pics). Not to mention hoodies and Tee's from the UK, or something from Australia. And the side advertising has gotten larger too.
