FJ Alarm Problem Help!

I love my FJ however I've got a challenge. Every time a loud vehicle goes by the alarm goes off. I live in Mexico and no mufflers and boom boxes seem to be every second car that goes by, it's driving me crazy, is there a controll for a sensor somewhere and if so how to set it. Thanks!!
