My stock floor mats were sort of worn out when I purchased my used Corolla XRS. Now they are worse.

I don't like weather-tech. They are hard and if they come warped, they don't fit correctly. My wife had them in her Mini and I had to take a knife to it to stop interference with the clutch pedal. I understand Husky Liners are similar. Anyone make floor mats that are softer and flexible. The mats that came in my Ridgeline were that way.

Thanks!

I just trimmed them to my liking with a decent pair of scissors. I think Amazon have some like these that are supposed to be Vehicle Specific, might find some that would be closer in size and take less trimming.

From pictures, WeatherTech seems to be a heavy duty rubber floor mat that should flex but that is just pictures. I like my Husky's as they are a very decent custom fit but they are more of a plastic material so they can be slippery. I recently bought another set of Husky's as I have had grey mats since around 2013 but I never thought they matched the interior of my Camry. I bought a black set less than a year ago and it seems that the build quality has changed as while they are still a plastic like material but now it has some sort of rubber texture to it. Fit wise, the grey was overall a good fit, the edge's weren't as contoured as I would like them to be but it was something I could ignore. The black seems perfect. I like a clean or at the very least not a stained carpet that I will never see.

As you can tell from the pictures, the fronts the edges aren't that contoured but it was not something I really noticed or cared about. The only reason I have holes in mine was because I was trying t do something "cool" with the OEM floor mats I got for free but ended up not using them and having holes...

That is what I am trying to avoid. Hard, pre-shaped floor mats that usually come warped and then cause issues. I like a set of Toyota mats. But they can be pricy. If you even had a gas pedal stick or have clutch interference, you know what I mean.

Not sure about these. But probably won't be embroidered with the xrs badging.
Those are what I have now. They are nice and the originals didn't come with XRS badging. That isn't a bad price. While hard plastic and rubber may be better protection against spills, I do like the cloth option. Thanks!

Weather tech floor liner: I heard the weather tech floor liner were great. They are custom made for each individual car. They cover every single area of the floor. Nothing is uncovered and if you buy a brand new car they will really protect your new investment. They are the best floor liners out there that is why they are expensive. I never had them before.
Are they worth it. Thank.

It does keep the liquids and dirt in the liner. I don't really know since I don't use liners in my car.

wow those are CHEAP. I need some all seasons for my matrix. My big worry looking at those is them sliding around, and also some cheap rubber mats STINK really bad... How are these in terms of smell and anchoring? I have a set of Honda all seasons mats from a 2011 civic that I use but I don't have the drivers side one installed as it just slides around when I drive.

They have like mini rubber cleats on the back so they don't slip much. I live in a dry climate so no issues with smell besides a little when they were brand new that had to gas off in the fresh air before I threw them in the truck. Dollar for dollar, I'll grab another set before fall.

I'd suggest you drill a hole in the mat so that it can hook onto the hook in the driver's side. This way it should stay put.

yeah, I probably will do that. I was thinking about it but I have to cut the mat shorter as well so I kind of just put it aside and forgot about it. The carpet is a bit worn below the pedal area. The car came floor mats for the trunk, rear seats, and front passenger but it was missing the drivers floor mat for some reason...
