Hello everyone. Supposing I do buy a 2008 Corolla, does anyone have recommendations for floor mats to protect the floor of my car from rain, water, etc?

It rains quite a bit where I live, and I think it ideal to have something to protect the floor.

Recommendations? Thank you.

We have Weather Tech floor liners in both of our cars. Great product. You get what you pay for with them. Put them in our Pathfinder in 2013 and in the Camry in 2015. No complaints with either. We opted for the floor liners rather than floor mats because they offer better protection with their raised edges.

Weather tech or husky. Weather tech is pricey. Go for the liners, not the mats.

What do you mean by go for the liners and not the mats? Are you referring to the ones that go in the front only (not the back ones)?

As someone that has the weather tech floor liners, they are alright. However you NEED to dry the liners constantly or else the water/snow will run off the mat onto the carpet (weather tech has a cut out so you can reach the trunk/fuel cap release). Then the carpet will stay wet because it's under a liner. I keep a cheap towel in the car to soak up any water in the floor liner before I leave the car so it doesn't run into the carpet. The passenger side floor liner is just fine because it completely covers the footwell. But otherwise I do love the quality of the floor liners, it's just that cut out part I hate. Pic attached of where the water runs off and soaks the carpet.

There are also the Husky floor liners (make sure you have the rear seat heater ducts). They feel cheaper but hold the water in the liner because there isn't a cut out near the trunk release.
