I had a fluctuating idle Friday morning as the motor was warming up. Checked coolant and it's full. Wondering if the temp sensor is on its way out. It kept up until the motor fully warmed up.

I'd start looking for a vacuum leak or Cold injector. Is the check engine light on ?

Vacuum leak is what I was thinking too. Also could be an idle air control valve which has gotten a bit dirty or sticky.
