Just curious if anyone has installed fog lights on an Avalon XL not equipped with them from the factory. I know most of the Toyotas have the wires there and just need the stalk, relay/fuse, and housings/covers. Figured I'd ask before i start looking into it, if not i'll post my findings here.

I did. I bought this kit off ebay...

...its super easy to wire. Just ran the power and ground straight to the battery. Only complaint, the switch is too small for the designated spots in the dash. It take a little ingenuity to get it to fit snug... a little more to get it to look good. The light themselves are direct fit and line up perfectly with the factory holes.

That seems like the route i'll have to take, the pre-wiring isn't there on mine, but I also see that my bumper wont allow for fog lights because the bumper was molded without a way to take out the lower grill piece. My bumper is cracked up from the previous owner, so its only a matter of time till i replace it. As for the switch I'll just get a factory switch and pigtail, shouldn't cost too much, then its a matter of wiring it in. Heck, might just make a harness for those fancy Led fog lights they make.

Or i can just instead focus on the exhaust for now.. I have to many ideas, too little time.
