I bought a replacement bumper yesterday, and I got new fasteners for the bumper from autozone, and no matter what, I can't get the damn things to lock in there. So, I was wondering if I could just get a bunch of 10mm bolts to secure it in there, rather than plastic fasteners....

you could, I suppose....but it'd be a lot harder than just using rivets like you're supposed to...

Well it works, but the only thing that sucked was that I screwed in all the bolts, since I drilled new 10mm holes through the bumper and the suspension frame, and I tried to line up the bumper sides with the fender and they wouldn't reach, so I had to unscrew all the bolts, line up the bumper with the fenders, screw those areas in, then screw the bumper in.

So yeah, rivets would have been nice.
