I have searched this forum and googled merrily, but I can't find my particualr problem online so far.
The car (2006 Camry) would lock and unlock all 4 doors perfectly using the key in the driver door lock. Just recently, the car refuses to lock the 2 fronts doors, but will lock the 2 rear doors. When you turn the key in the lock you feel a resistance, and can feel the door lock actuators locking then unlocking the front door locks.
Could this be a problem in one or both door lock actuators, or might it be a problem with some central locking module. I was having a problem with the remote fob not working, but the door situation has just gotten worse and not better.
Any good tests to systematically diagnose such an issue.
Thanks!
Dave.
