Front end clicking when turning

Gday all,

I've searched the forums but couldnt seem to find an answer for this one...I have just bought a 1980 Hilux that is in pretty good nick for her age. the only issue i've noticed is a clicking/clunking in the front end when 4wd is engaged and the wheels are turned.

Does anyone know what would cause this? Is it CV joints? Does the 1980 have CV joints? A lot of the parts I find are for CV assemblies for IFS...does my truck fall into this category?

Have worked on lots of 2wd vehicles...but this is my first 4by!

would appreciate any advice?

Yeah, it has a CV joint, the type usually refered to as a Birfield.
Could be the Birf, or possibly the manual hub.
