I have an 03 V6 FWD Highlander with 125K. Very cold weather and a good amount of snow this winter. Over last couple of weeks have noticed noise in front end...seems like right under the front seat area. If it was in the rear I'd think it is a muffler. Any thoughts before I take it to a mechanic? I don't want to end up with an unneeded muffler or cat converter just because i think that's what it might be.
