Hi guys. I am having a popping occurring sporadically in my 2009 Tacoma. Mechanic said he found nothing. Sometime at stop sign when you try to accelerate it feels like your up against a brick wall and the front end will go dow. The a loud pop and then it goes on. Also notice when in 4 wheel drive pulls very hard and will not turn to left or right with out a lot of scrubbing and very hard to accelerate. Any one have this issue before. Thanks

Welcome. Is this truck new to you? The problems in 4WD -- are you on dry pavement (or any hard surface) when it happens?

Both sound like it’s in 4wd on dry pavement. A no no if so.
