Replaced the downstream o2 sensor 98 avy, during the process i unbolted the front two bolts of the seat to see if i could get more carpet off, really didnt help so i left the seat as is, after finishing up, one side of the seat's bracket bolted in ok but the one close to the console is off, how in the world do i push it or move it so it aligns with the hole and the bolt can screw in?

you have to pull it with some force.

it's easier to pull all of the bolts and start over.

have rear and front pass door open. set seat on front support where bolts go

then set it on the rear braket near the B pillar.

so the front holes(1&2) should be on the support. and (3) should be on the seatbelt/B pillar braket.

take your first bolt and put it in hole (4) (rear inner bolt)since it does not have a bracket to rest on.

start the bolt so it hold the weight of the seat and the rest will more or less be lined up for you

ok i got it in today, instead of opening all the bolts i decided to use a steel pipe to push between the seat bracket and the center console area, it took a bit but had it aligned and pushed the bolt rite in. Thanks projectavalon
