I have a pair of Kicker KS6.2 Components I plan on putting in the front doors. When I installed my head unit I noticed that there were no extra wires for the tweeters. What my question is, is there a factory crossover somewhere between the deck and the speakers? Or do the wires just split off somewhere?

If you're just hooking up to your head unit for now then yes it's already crossed over somewhere. Just splice the +/- wires for the front door speakers and you're done.

Thanks! So should I just utilize the factory crossover and not even bother with the Kicker or would there be a huge difference in sound quality between the two? Also, if I want to Dynamat (or equivalent) my doors while I have the panels off, how much square footage do you think I'm looking at?

Your headunit will have speaker wires coming off the back of it. You'll have a front left, front right, left rear, right rear.

You will want to use the crossovers supplied by Kicker. The stock wiring should not be used at all. I would run new wire from the back of the headunit to the kicker crossover boxes. When you get an amp to power them, you can use and RCA from the headunit to the amp, then speaker wire from the amp to the crossovers.

Also do not mount the Kicker crossovers in the doors. Mount them somewhere in the cabin.
