Sorry for the repeat, but is it pretty safe to say that a tire noise, like a hum, from the front end that goes away when you turn the wheel is the bearing? 2005 Taco, SR5 4 door, 4WD.
Recently front left (drivers) tire hum (not growl) got worse in the last week.
Noise noticible on highway driving straight. Slight left noise is worse.
Turn right, like a lane change, noise goes away.
I had the drivers side bearing replaced around 70K, have 132K now.
Had the tires balanced and aligned a month ago.
Slight edge wear on tires (all) due to the fact that I need struts.
