I have a strange front vent fan problem and hope someone can help me out.

When I turned the fan control switch to first two positions, the fan does not turn on. But if turn the switch to next two positions (high speeds), the fan will turn on.

Hard to say, bad control switch or lazy blower...

Thanks for your help. My vehicle is 2001 Sienna. By the way, where is the blower? is it under center dash board or it is outside under the hood? If under center dash board, how to get to the blower resistent ?

Thanks for the information. I tried to remove the glove compartment by removing two mounting screws, but still not be able to remove it. Do you know how to remove the glove compartment? Do I need to remove the plastic cover under it?
