I've got those, too. I don't really mind, seeing as I either have my windows all the way up or all the way down.
i got mine tinted at this place by my house.. he specializes in both auto and residential tinting..been in service for over 20 years. and the brand tint is LLUNAR..got life-time warranty on them too, but i dont wanna be annoying going back and forth lol (i'm saving it for the back windshield, if it bubbles)thats really weird......Well all my windows are stock tint except for the front passenger due to the break-in and I only see two on the rear windshield but they are barely visable....and the aftermarket tint is no problem either and it was tinted a month or so ago. All of my tint is fine, I didnt know it was possible for this to happen especially since we are talking about rubber.....where did you get the windows tinted at?
crappy tint my ass  (i see no purple or bubbles around my car) its the weather strip that is crappy.. my father got his scion xd tinted and the driver side got some "scruff"crappy tint, i'd say REPLACE MY tint if guaranteed!
Llumar is a pretty good brand, unless the tint the OP got was not scratch resistant.crappy tint, i'd say REPLACE MY tint if guaranteed!
This would be my guess as well. That or a zipper or taking off a seatbelt carelessly causing the buckle to drag across the glass.I got some a rock or something stuck in the weatherstripping on the outside and have some long gouges in the glass from it.
