Hey everyone,

Been having a little problem with my Tacoma. Has been running rough, hesitating, jerking. Had it in to the dealer all day yesterday, and I drove it home last night. Still acting funny. So I called back and their best idea now is water in the fuel. He told me to put some gas dryer in the tank and see if that works itself through and solves the problem.

Has anyone used any of this stuff? What brand? (The one brand I've seen is "Heet") Did it work?

Thanks for your help!!

HEET, red bottle. It works better than HEET Yellow bottle. It does work, but you might need to run a couple of tank-fulls.

I used it a lot (every other tank) in my old Mitsubishi to help with single-digit weather starts ups. Worked well. It will dry gas also.

Do your local gas stations sell gas with ethanol added?

From what I've been told: The ethanol mixes with the water in your tank if you have any allowing it to get picked up by the fuel intake and get burned by your engine. You may not need to add any additional ethanol if your gas already has it in there.
