Not sure what you mean, the design of a banjo fitting is meant to not care about the orientation of the bolt after tightening. Is there any way to post a photo?

Can't post a photo. Seems to me the orientation of bolt matters because

when you use the bolt with both oem washers the hole lines up,

When you use the bolt with both aftermarket washers the hole lines up

But when you use the bolt with one oem and one aftermarket washer the hole doesn't line up

Or maybe it's the new wix filter causing the two mismatched washers to not line up the holes

I think I understand what you mean... you mean if the hole in the banjo bolt lines up with the hole in the fitting it goes into?

Doesnt matter. Just make sure you have a nice tight seal and use appropriate washers

I you can not look at the fitting and see that there is a fluid channel 360* around the inside diameter, there is no explaining anyone here can do to help you understand.

if it made a difference on this than it would on calipers as well as they use banjo bolts. long story short, it dont make a difference. the long story is there is a channel where the hole in the bolt rest the circumference of the object it goes in so the fluid runs perfectly to the hole no matter what
