Where is the fuel filter location on an 01 Tundra V8? How hard is it to replace? Where is the best place to buy filters on-line? I'm getting around 11 miles/gal in the city and thought I would start with a new filter. Its got ~43K for miles. I use to get around 15mi/gal but its gone down each tank recently. Any other suggestions. Oxg. Sensors??

fuel filter

The fuel filter is located on the inside of the driver side frame rail about halfway along the width of the door. It is not hard to change, just make sure that you unscrew the gas cap first. I assume that you have a clean air filter. make sure that all hoses that go to the square box on the air filter hose are connected. I doubt that the problem is a bad ox sensor because that should turn on the check engine light.
