Gen 4, yes. In the old days it was somewhere around 30-60K. on my 96 Camry, I did it every 60K. That was me. I do know that some people go 90 or more, but I don't like that idea, to much sediment build up etc. I am an over cautious person, and have always bought into something my grandma use to say; "an ounce of prevention is better and cheaper than a pound of cure."

man, to change the fuel filter is a big time job, the labor will kill you?

I think same location for 2005 Gen 5 Camry. but that filter should be changed due to the bad gas we get at the stations.
