I don't recall a GEN6/6.5 K&N CAI.. could always be a possibility he made one by himself using autozone pieces and used a K&N cone filter..

well on autozone.com or any other places that sells K&N, K&N markets their "CAI" and "SRI" both ways when it comes to gen 6 camry's

i was just asking about the spectre since he has a spectre filter

that muffler never gave a ticket :(

That's why I hesitated to change it. So now I am definitely keeping it. :D
You need to do your Instrument Cluster, HVAC, Radio, Steering Wheel Controls, Glove Box, Vanity Mirrors, Traction Light, Seatbelt/Security Light and Door Switches too!!!!!
Yeah the K&N short air intake i made myself for around 50 dollars :) Im installing it today at 6 ill post a video of what it sounds like and looks like.

GTR - my ride is far from what yours is :) Gotta do more stuff for it, looking for rims still :) You guys think i should smoke my tail lights or better get the eagle ones?

I feel they're too dark.. tint them!
You mean i should smoke them instead of buying the ones?
tint the tail lights, it will look good as long as its a light tint. ive been meaning to tint my tails, but schools starting up for me again and i just dont really have the time or money to spend on my car anymore until summer.

Aw yeah dude same thing i got school and work. Still trying to upgrade from time to time. Should i use spray paint or vinyls? And whats the best % to tint them. Some states its illegal. :naughty:
Yes. Smoke/tint them. Spray on tint is easiest. Light coat of spray on tint, I believe it's called, nightshade, and a few more coats of clear. Clear brings out the gloss!

Yeah i found the product. Do you think i should take the tail lights out and do it or should i just cover the bumper and the sides with tape and newspapers? Also he was talking about a clear to give it a gloss look what is a clear?
i would say go with the vinyls, well atleast thats what im planning. Nightshade is an alternative route, but if you do too many layers it will be to dark and it might be a challenge matching one side to the other side, since after they dry it gets darker.

if you do go vinyls, i would suggest contacting bluebackmobile and going with 3/10 tint.

Clear coat spray paint. It gives the finish a glossy look instead of perhaps a matte look.

Take out the tails. There's always a risk of overspray. You could use paint thinner to remove the overspray, but by then, you'd wish you had taken them out.

There are threads on how to do so, and loosen the rear bumper if you do take them out, so you don't break your tail light tabs. Some people don't care if they do or not, but the bumper isn't hard to loosen at all.

Any chance you know if its legal in IL. I was searching and found out that some people get pulled over. A little confused about the tail tinging law in IL.
Im not sure about the laws on tail light tint in IL, but i think if you go with a light tint you'll be fine. Hopefully someone else can chime in here.
Tail tints are illegal if the cop cannot see your lights emitting out of the dark. People who have solid black tints at night with very little light getting out create a dangerous situation where people cannot see them and rear end them.

If you just lightly tint them so your bright red tails are a bit darker, then you'd be fine. It's fair game until it gets really dark.
