I know this might be a funny question. But what is the gas consumption comparison of a RAV 4 to a Toyota Corolla like? at moment been driving a corolla for 10 years now, love it no problems and gas mileage is good

Thinking of upgrade perhaps maybe later this year to SUV like a RAV 4
what would be the gas comparisons

right now at 1.8L i get about 500 to 600 km before i fill up
or about 310 mile to 372 miles

what am i looking at for the RAV

also are the RAVS more durable? better ride? etc

The two do not compare......I've owned both. If you want miles per gallon get a Corolla. If you want room, hauling & towing capacity, seating for real sized adults, and all wheel drive get a RAV.

I have a 2011 Corolla. MPG averages about 36 + or -, lower in colder weather.
This is in mostly country/highway driving.
We just purchased a used 2011 Rav4 and took it out for it's maiden voyage on the highway. MPG was 29.04. So for mileage, go for the Corolla. For more cargo space go with the RAV4.
