25.5 is pretty low on the highway. I would wait a few thousand more miles until the engine has a chance to be broken in, like the dealer said. Do you have Overdrive on? Did you change the oil yet? I see you are in Minnesota, do you let your car idle and warm up a lot? Idling gets 0 mpg and brings down your overall average. If you do idle alot, I would change the oil.
overdrive was on have not changed oil and do not let the car idle. my last tank of gas averaged 22.8 talked to dealer they said wait again. Do u think I have any other options there scan said everythig was good
Try not accelerating or cruising past 2500 RPM, see if that helps. Try using a different brand of gas, Shell or Chevron for example. Winter gas is probably still being used over there so that could have something to do with it. When you do an oil change use some brand of synthetic oil.

Where is most of your driving done, in the city or the on the highway?
25.5 is low ... are you flooring that? I used to get 26-28 flooring the car almost every single light (100% local)
I changed my rims to 17" and falken 225/45/17 ... now running 23-25mpg 100% street ...

i do remember getting 38-44mpg highway when i first got the car. Is your A/C on?
Plus it's winter = lower gas mileage?
