First post here, so here goes....

I have an 03 Corolla S with about 110,000 mi on it. Smelled some gas after filling up, and took to the mechanic to get it diagnosed. They found a "nipple" on the tank that was rusted through and told me I needed a new tank. I figured I'd save some $$ and order the parts myself instead of paying their upcharge on them. I ordered a tank, straps, filter, pump, and sender. When I called to schedule the appt to have the work done I told the guy I had all the parts so he didn't need to order them. He asked if I got a sender, which I told him I had. He went on to say something about there being one or two "senders" on top of the tank, that they sometimes refer to as ...... something I didn't catch, and they wouldn't know until they got it down. So I figured I'd look into this and buy the parts if need be. After looking at a diagram of the fuel tank the only other parts I could come up with were A. Fuel Pressure Regulator (23280-22010) or B. Cut Off Valve (77390-12030). Aside from theses there seems to be nothing else that isn't a hose or connector. Is my mechanic mistaken, or is there something I'm missing?

And while I'm at it, aside from the items I've already bought to replace, would you recommend replacing any other items while the tank is down?

Thanks!

Micah

I think those two (A & B) are the only other things on there.
