I have a gen 2 |4 and i have minimal knowledge of engine modding ...
i was just looking through ebay and saw this-

Is this a CAI OR RAM?
Is it suitable for my camry (will it fit) / (or better to get a brand name)???
How much work would it take to instal this item???

it can be either. the shirt ram is an intake that has the filter inside the engine bay (arguably a bad choice) the cold air intake draws cold air by routing the filter to somewhere outside the engine bay...I.E. a fender or front bumper.

what u found on ebay is basically just a filter that goes on the end of ur afm to replace the airbox. I had that on my 89 for about a year before i decided to get a cai. The performance gains with just the filter were fairly minimal but the sound was sweet. I got an el prototypes cai which ran me $160 with a K&N filter. you can see if u can contact them www.elprototypes.com The power from the cai is pretty nice and the sound is truly orgasmic.
