I was wondering if anyone from this board have Koni shocks on there camry. HOws the ride? And for the people who have ksport, any comments on these 2 suspension? Negative or Positive comment is highly recommended. My tax return check is going to be here next week, I want to know which one is better.

the k-sports offer a GREAT range of adjustability, but they are somewhat lacking in quality ...

they only have a 1yr warranty, so if anything breaks after that ... it can cost as much as buying a whole new set of struts just to replace the cartridges in the coilovers

idk the ride quality yet because it is going to be setup on saturday ... so ill report on it then

My Ksports kick ass personally. And they aren't even on the firm setting. Or lowered all the way. And they will last a while if you install them right

installing them right doesnt help the quality

JIC all the way now that it's been proven to work for our gen 3's hell if you need something a little cheaper than $1200 then buy tein coilovers since the gen4 stuff fit with no modifications too. If I knew about fitting gen4 coilovers in the gen3 then I would of never considered buying k-sports period.

Koni is undeniably one of the best in the shock business and they make tokico and kyb look like nothing!!! Not to mention there are the only shock without going to coilovers with an adjustable knob to make it stiffer or softer so you can match up perfectly with whatever springs out there. Have stock springs for the time being leave it at the softest setting and still provides it with better performance than stock, have the stiffest spring out there then up the stiffness on the koni. At the full stiffness it comes really close as to performance of a coilover but much much more comfortable. Basiclaly knoi knows how to do shocks. Get the koni red if you can but remember that it's only for unsealed struts. Most of us can't rock it since we all have sealed struts, if you have sealed struts then your outta luck and good luck trying to find the strut housings to fit those koni's. Where I live at I can't find shit.
