what is the largest diameter wheels you can fit on a 98 v6?

tire size would be great if possible too please. thanks guys

yeah. basically as big as u want. but u will need to replace some suspension parts the bigger you go (raise the car for 30" rims)

if u keep stock components, u can go 19 and 20. if u do 2" lowering. u can still do 19. it all depends. a good size is 18" with tires that keep the same wheel diameter as stock. check http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html for that.

but yeah. read thru the first link terra gave u. it gives good info

in terms of what looks good vs what can fit...i think 17's look the best with 18's being ok. But thats just my opinion.

17's are way to small on a gen4 imo, 19's are the biz... 20's if youre going for bling bling type wheels.

just remember, top of wheel arch to top of tyre rubber should be equal or less then side (3/9 oclock) gap. looks really funny if you arent lowered enough :D

17's for a street tuner/race look for a gen3, 18's with something nice for the euro look, 19 if ya want the touring look (you need touring spoked wheels and to be totally dumped ^^) or bling bling
