Looks fine to me. It actually looks a 1/4 of a tick low. As long as you're in the middle, you're fine. I've heard that Toyota's thermostats are inaccurate- or very vague.

Have you noticed a change in performance lately, or have you recently changed the thermostat?

that looks perfectly normal to me... in fact on mine once it's warmed up it usually sits between the 4th and 5th hash mark, like dead center...

That's fine dude, no worries. If you start seeing it climb while driving then you might need to stop for a few minutes. Chevys are horrible. You can actually see it go up and down when you step on the throttle for a few seconds.
