Hello everyone,

I am just about to buy my first car although it kind of looks the part of a junk-bucket. I am talking about the 5-door corolla 2002 with a 1.6l engine that boasts 110hp. I wish that at least the engine https://solitaire.onl/ https://9apps.ooo/
https://bluestacks.vip/ would give me a reason to be excited and this is where I was just too smart for that to happen. I immediately looked up the net weight of the car and was treated to a whopping 1140 kg. OOF! Exactly... Unfortunately I am into tuner culture and I just can't help myself but think even that my grandma would die from a heart failure because that I just couldn't take her to the hospital in due time. What's more is I noticed that tuning parts are hard to come by for this model.

This is all I ask for to not die alone and/or be an effing casual! (I want to go to a racing school that lets me get 50% off tuition if I use my own car btw)

Please, if there is someone with experience in making corollas fun cars just let me know what I could do to make my first car memorable (I will kind of use it for quite a while looking at myself and my skill in saving up money). Just tell me what I can do to not try driving my future corolla off a cliff at max speed to end my suffering. I don't give a shit if it's an engine swap, I'll do what it takes as Imagine Dragons said once.

So please just bless me with all the tips and tricks you can give a tuner nerd like me who's stuck with a rebel car (if it is so, you're about to let me know anyway).

An idea would be to look into doing either a 1.8 1zz swap or a 2zz ge swap.

There are several members that have done a 2zz swap.

Toyota did good job at optimizing engine. You're not gonna get much more with any kind of mods. Other than forced induction.

You buy a particular car for a basket of reasons, like efficiency, or comfort, or hp. The Corolla is not generally something you buy to tune up and expect any kind of racing prestige - the car is intended for a vastly different function (as in, a lower cost, reliable way to get from point A to point B with a small, fuel efficient engine). You can put in a different engine, which could be fun as you get to learn a whole bunch. But you have to ask yourself why and what you are really looking to do, and most importantly what you will gain from the cost and effort. Hopefully it is not to be one of those assclowns that put the fart cans and pipe on their low rent 4 bangers and are so loud and obnoxious it pisses everyone with working eardrums in a 3 mile radius the freak off. Was unfortunate enough to have my window down today while out as some d-bag like that went screaming by. And by screaming I mean his exhaust, but his POS older Honda did not have the HP to race down the road, just kind of limp along and deafen everyone. But I digress :)

There are platforms out there you can buy basic, then mod up and get some fun out of them. I would not expect that Corolla to be one. Keep it reasonable so you have something reliable you can drive when your project car goes tatas up.
