thanks man, yeh i would really love to keep this truck, besides the problems it has had i love this truck. u dont see many reg cab 4x4's around here and mine will def be the only lifted one where i live so i hope this is the last problemmdspanky1 said:i feel for you man. i to have an 05 but have not had a single problem with it except one of the mud flaps ripping after a snow storm we got here. i just think it sucks how it seems like there is such a hit and miss formation with these trucks. one guy with an 05 has a ton of problems with his but then another guy has more problems with his 06 then a guy with an 05.hope everything works out with your truck man.
And like someone else said, buying a car right after a redesign on it, its also bound to have problems, toyota or not.Jredneck480 said:when im in the mud it tends to hit around 8000
yeh i should prolly be easier to it, but thinking it was a toyota i could do this kind of stuff to it, since i used to beat the hell out of my 2000 prerunner and never had a problem with it, i guess theses new ones cant handle it.Tacolot said:Keeping in mind. When you bag on your truck, things are bound to fuck up.
Just take it easy on the old girl.

i actually might try that thanks manpsujoe said:I had a '99 Ranger. I had 26 warranty repairs in under 18 mths with the Ranger. I firmly requested a sit down with a Ford Regional Service Rep. I explained I wanted Ford to either exchange my vehicle for a similarly equipped new one or give me a full bumper to bumper extended 5 yr/75,000 mile warranty. They elected for the later. And I used it and used it and used it. I kept the truck until the warranty expired. In the end I had close to 40 repairs. Ford had have lost money on my deal. Each time I brought the truck in they would have to keep the truck for a day or two and place me in a loaner.
If I were you I would have a calm heart to heart with the dealership and request that they arrange a meeting with the regional rep in your area.
Good luck.

If your truck is in the shop more than 30 days total or more than 3 times to fix the same problem they have to refund your money.
did it with a Land Rover and they refunded my money completely, and if you had a trade in they have to return the value in cash., if you want more info on what I did let me know
